Description: (chose wood, black or green color mount)
This new, easy to use Tiffany style white opal lamp fixture with simulated wood right angle mounting bracket and peel-and-stick 3M mounting pad uses a high intensity warm white LED. This is one of the second series of G scale prototypical light fixtures available from the shourt line. The first used simulated oil lamp fixtures. This one spans the period spanning gas to electric illumination. It has a Tiffany style opal lamp shade for period design and a special wall mounting bracket so it can be used on any vertical wall or building.
This 1 LED fixture does requires the use of a Shourt Line LED controller dimmer for safe and efficient operation and works without the use of dropping resistors or complicated formulas. The SL LED controllers are available with solder and screw type terminals for in car wall and ceiling mounts as well as under car mounting on any G scale short or long cars.
The SL LED controller is up to 94% efficient so that even the LGB starter set power pack will power a loco, its lights and 12 LED lamps plus additional car lighting for future expansion. The newest SL LED controller is unique in operating at 1/6th the power of any other available and it also works at the lowest track voltage or no track voltage, it fact it operates 8 LEDs up to 5 minutes without any track power!

- Default color temperature is Warm White which is matched for 3,200 degrees Kelvin that matches LGB two pin bulbs in color temperature. Use the Incandescent setting on your camera from proper color temperature in your photos.
- At the time of order you can request the Yellow Warm White or the Warm Warm White but we recommend using the Warm White standard unless you want to simulate a yellow outdoor bug light (YWW) or candle flame (WWW) see the photos below to compare.
You will receive the recommended Warm White LED lamp fixture shown on the right side of the photo above unless you request the WWW or the YWW color temperature LEDS with your order. Note the difference in color temperature in the pools of light from each fixture. The Warm White is recommended but the other color temperatures are available upon request.
Instructions: The photos shown below are for examples of use, wiring and placement. Only a single Tiffany style Opal LED fixture with simulated wood mounting bracket and pre wired with 18 inch leads come with this item.
This item requires an SL LED controller for safe and efficient operation. We install lighting products an all makes of G scale cars if you do not want to do it yourself. SL LED controllers area available in both solder and screw terminal types. We will set up the controller of your choice when requested so you do not have to adjust the voltage per the instructions that comes with each controller. A volt/amp meter is required to set the safe operating voltage on our SL LED controllers. Other makes and models of controllers may not work with direct parallel wiring of LEDs. If you want to use another controller be sure to use dropping resistors on each LED as they usually will not provide proper operation without them. All our controller work without dropping resistors.
- Adjust your SL Lighting controller using the instructions provided with your controller
- Do not use a voltage above 3.1 volts
- Test the fixture by connecting the long stripped wire to + and the shorter stripped wire to - output of a Shour Line LED controller that has been previously set to the proper voltage
- Check to see the lamp turn on, if not reverse the leads and retest - mark the + and - leads of the lamp for later wiring to the controller

- Clean the surface where you want to mount the fixture with an alcohol wipe
- Peel off the read tape to reveal the 3M adhesive pad
- Hold the fixture above the mounting surface to check the correct position before it touches the mounting surface.
- Apply gentle pressure by pushing the 3M pad mounting bracket firmly.
- Route the wires to an an existing SL lighting fixture and SL LED controller or a separate SL LED Controller of your choice
Use only with an SL LED controller; damage to your led fixture is not covered with other controllers or if instructions are not followed.
Each fixture comes with 18 inch micro cable leads for installation any vertical surface or building. The lighting fixtures provides wide angle illumination as shown above.
To install, clean the surface you want to mount to with an alcohol wipe, peel off the read tape to reveal the 3M adhesive pad and apply.

The lamp is wired to an SL-8452403 Micro Size Train Throttle & LED controller DC with an SL-6453003 5 Side Snap On Enclosed Case and powered by a 9 volt battery inside the cabin. (building & LED controller not included but available at our store.
To power from AC DC or DCC track power use the Shourt Line SL-8453003 Precision Train Throttle & LED controller shown above. The controller can power and dim over 300 LEDs at up to 94% efficiency from AC,DC or DCC at 4 to 35 volts. It uses 1/6 the power of all other lighting systems available.(building & LED controller not included but available at our store.
It is easy to wire the this LED lighting fixtures to any existing SL lighting fixture connected to an SL LED controller as ALL LEDs are wired in parallel, + to + and - to -. No dropping resistors are needed or complicated formulas. Up to 300 LEDs can be powered from each SL LED controller.
